We are glad to inform you that Miyabi Black Tame Uchidenokozuchi and Ohashi x Ko-Tsuzumi Uchidenokozuchi have been sent to the Sasaki Art Gallery in the Pan Pacific Hotel. We are excited to see our items displayed at such a wonderful gallery and great location. While next lots of several items are now in the manufacturing process, those two are the only items we could send this time. We hope several more items will also be put on display at the Gallery in the near future.
December 3rd, 2022:
We are pleased to inform you that our new item, Ninja Never Fights – Ofukuwake, has been selected for the exhibition at Japan Traditional Craft Aoyama Square (from January 4th to 12th) after displayed at the National Art Center, Tokyo (from December 2nd to December 12th), for the Japan’s Traditional Craft Competition 2022. Our items have been selected for three consecutive years!
The title of the work is Ninja Never Fights – Ofukuwake. Taking advantage of properties of urushi, this plate is made for you to enjoy makie of Ninja sitting in meditation and wood grain after years because time makes the color of the top coat urushi more transparent.
You can not see now, but the Ninja is placed at the center front near the cheek.

We shot a video of the turner working on one of our items, Ofukuwake. The video will be edited and uploaded to this site as well as posted on YouTube channel, Facebook page, and other platforms.
November 13th, 2022:
We are now preparing for design competition n Europe. Our items have finally got a professional photographer who specializes in product photography.
November 1st, 2022:
Part of our items are now registered as thank-you gifts of Furusato Nozei（ふるさと納税） from Imizu-City, Toyama-pref., and added to the list. We hope our items could get a lot of visibility nationwide in Japan before becoming well known in Europe as well as in North America, where we are just starting to actually try to find a foothold.

We are happy to announce that, following the last year’s winning work, Ko-Tsuzumi-V, Tsuzumi has been selected this year for the exhibition at Japan Traditional Craft Aoyama Square after displayed at the National Art Center, Tokyo, for the Japan’s Traditional Craft Competition 2021. It had been on display at National Art Center from November 26th to December 6th, and is now exhibited at Aoyama Square to 6th of this month. We are going to release some of our products soon at Japan Store@Amazon.com. Though Tsuzumi can only be purchased through our website and will not be released @Amazon.com for the time being, we hope you will also visit our store at Japan Store and enjoy shopping.

According to the report released by Minowa Shikko Co., Ltd. in Fukui-pref., Japan, on August 24th, antiviral effect of urushi against novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) has been verified by the test conducted at General Incorporated Association Japan Textile Products Quality and Technology Center.

Ko-Tsuzumi-V has been selected for the exhibition at Japan Traditional Craft Aoyama Square after displayed at the National Art Center, Tokyo, for the Japan’s Traditional Craft Competition 2020. It had been on display at National Art Center from November 28th to December 7th, and is now exhibited at Aoyama Square to 7th of this month. This is our first try and has become a great encouragement for us to go forward with our totally new brand for which we take an uncompromising approach to design, quality, and the traditional production process.
